Kiip & Sweatcoin: Charity Recap 2017

In the last week of November, we partnered with Sweatcoin to raise donations for Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization working to connect people with food and end hunger.

How’d We Do?

After only 24 hours, we hit our donation goal of 250,000 Sweatcoins! This resulted in a donation of $2,500 on behalf of Kiip to Feeding America, which went towards providing 25,000 meals to families in need. A huge shout-out to the thousands of Sweatcoin users in the United States who helped make this a reality.

Giving Isn’t Just For The Holidays

According to a recent survey of Kiip’s mobile users, 72.3% plan on charitable giving this holiday season, whether that be donating money, volunteering, or participating in an office donation (canned food or toy drive). Additionally, 86% said helping a cause in which they personally believe is very or somewhat important

This got us thinking — why should giving be limited to just the holiday season?
